A place to say what actually happened.
Rogue Valley Renters Voices publishes renter stories in the renter’s own words. No comment pile-ons. No anonymous attacks. No rewriting someone’s life until it sounds tidy.
If you name a landlord, owner, or management company publicly, you identify yourself publicly too. Accountability runs both ways.
Not a review site. Not a comment section.
A public place for a renter to tell a complete account without being shouted down underneath it.
Tell it straight
You submit your own story. Your voice stays recognizable.
Put your name on it
No anonymous public accusations. If you identify someone else, readers know who is making the statement.
No comment warfare
Stories do not have public comment threads. They get room to stand on their own.
Mine started after I had already moved out.
I had divorced, received a Housing Choice Voucher for me and my grandson, and moved into another property managed by the same company. Months later, an eviction filing appeared at the old house. My name was still on it.

The full chronology lives on My Story. The documents live in The Record.
Ryn and I move to Highland
PRP rents me a new apartment under my Housing Choice Voucher. Taylor’s ledger is at zero when I leave.
Taylor eviction filing
Rent goes unpaid after I leave. Rhett calls because my name is included in the case.
“We want the apartment too.”
At Taylor mediation, PRP says it also wants Highland back. I return home to a termination notice there.
One growing paper trail
Taylor goes to trial. Highland becomes its own case. The consequences later reach my voucher and rental screening record.
The remarkable parts have receipts.
Not because every renter is right. Not because every landlord is wrong. Because what actually happened should matter.
Evidence lives separately from narrative
Notices, ledgers, court filings, correspondence, dates, photos, and video belong in The Record, where readers can inspect the paper trail without turning the story into a legal brief.
